June 4-8, 2012 was a time for reflecting on achievements during the first 2 years of the project and planning for the year ahead. Technical and Finance staff from country teams in Malawi, Ethiopia, Rwanda and DC met in Naivasha, Kenya for a week of strategic planning and experience sharing.
The meeting helped country teams to work better as a team with their own countries and with the project as a whole. Countries were able to share their achievements and give advice to their colleagues in other countries. Some feedback of the event included “I appreciate how much everyone contributed to the success of the event and took responsibility for facilitation of the sessions. Overall, the meeting was successful in charting the course for country interventions in the coming year and beyond.
