The Ethiopia field team has been working for the past several months to complete Lot Quality Assurance Sampling (LQAS) monitoring in the intervention regions of the country: SNNP, Oromia, Amhara and Tigray. LQAS monitors the number of ready lessons provided at monthly meetings from SC4CCM health centers and identifies aspects of ready lessons that work well or not.

Once completed as of July 2012, the Ethiopia field team will analyze the LQAS data and use this to determine the underlying barriers to implementation. The team will then present the priority intervention areas that they have identified backed by the data and the propose activities to address these areas. From this intervention support activities to our nine intensive woredas will be identified and a plan for support for the next 3-4 months developed.
